DESCRIPTION

Together with the "Shadow Gaming eSport team" we are pleased to invite you to fight in the next up and coming mixed 5x5 tournament. Put together a well coordinated team and help decide the fate of 500 dollars in prize money, over 50,000 Golden Eagles, memorable in-game titles and decals!

Warning! Map selection is available only at the play-off stage.

RULES

Maximum number of participating teams can be found in the "ABOUT" section of the tournament.
This tournament has 2 stages.
1. Group stage - N groups of 4 teams each.
Each match is in format best of 1, until 1 win in battle (session).
Group matches are played in the circle system, with 3 battles (sessions) in each match.
If two or more teams have the same number of points in the tournament bracket, the places in the leader board are based on the best team by parameters in the statistics/skill of
all the matches they played.

The 2 best teams from each group enter the play-off bracket.

2. Play-off stage with the bracket for 64 teams, with single elimination.
Each match is in format of best of 3, until 2 wins in battles (sessions).
The full tournament bracket will be shown at the 1/32 final stage (when 64 teams are left in the tournament).
In case of a draw in the battle, both players receive technical defeat and leave the tournament.
In case of a draw in the Final match of the tournament, both teams take the 2nd place.

Team registration
In order to participate, player needs to register the team.

After registering the team, player has to confirm the participation of the team before the registration ends.Each team has 5(2) players (5 players + 2 reserve player).

Name of the team should not contain any words or phrases that are in violation of the forum and game rules. The organizers can remove the team from competition in the case of violation of these rules.

Tournament Schedule
Match starting time is shown on the timer on the tss.warthunder.com website, which can be found on the top right of the main page and on the My Tournaments page.
In case of changes in the tournament schedule or time changes in some matches, the organizers will inform about it in the topic on the Forum.

Map selection procedure
IMPORTANT! This tournament uses a new mechanic of map/mission selection before each match, the team captain has to play on PC! (console and MacOS players cannot use select)

Before all players receive invites to the first match lobby, team captains will receive an in-game message with a link to the screen where they can select the map (mission) for the match.
Each captain then de-selects the maps that they don't want to play until one map (mission) remains.
Who selects first is random. In a case where one or both captains don't join the selection, the system will automatically select the map.
All players can join and view the selection, they will also receive a message with a link to join the selection but will not be able to interact with it.
The selection result will be displayed on the website in the match info.
A battle (session) lobby will be created 2 minutes after selection completion and players will receive the invites at the same time in the game client to join the lobby.
If you missed it, the invite will be available in the Invites section of the game client.

IMPORTANT! After players receive the invite they have 1 minute to join the lobby.

Compensation

In the case that the tournament is stopped due to technical issues, the website administration restarts the tournament with the teams (players) who were participating according to the tournament bracket at the moment when the tournament was stopped.

In case that a team (player) stopped participating in the tournament due to a technical issue with the tournament system or game server issues, this team (player) will receive a compensation in the form of 50% booster of RP and SL.

Compensation is possible only if the players present the actual game log file (i.e.: C: - Games - War Thunder - .game_logs)

Match Streaming

Live streaming of the matches can be performed only by the streamers who have been approved by Gaijin Entertainment.
No other streamers will be able to join matches.
Tournament players cannot deny the right of the approved streamers to stream any match.
The streamers who do not have official approval can stream the tournament replays.


Tournament rules

Each participating player confirms playing according to these rules:
• Players from each team have to enter the lobby created for the next battle before the session start time, which is displayed on the web site.
• Players receive the automated invitation to join the tournament in the client of 1 minutes before the match is scheduled to start.
• Each player has to confirm readiness in the lobby by pressing the "Ready" button.
• Battle (session) starts automatically by the timer on the web site or earlier if all players in the lobby are present and Ready.
• Battle (session) starts automatically by the timer on the web site even if one of the players is not present or hasn't managed to press the "Ready" button.
• In case that opponents haven't shown up during 5 minutes after the session started, the team who is in the lobby and ready has to wait until the server announces technical victory. Do not leave the lobby until it closes automatically! If you leave the lobby before the server returns you back to hangar, the result of the match will be disqualification of both teams.
• If both teams do not press "Ready" button or do not show up before the match starts for ALL the matches in Group stage, they will be disqualified.
• If both teams do not show up or do not press the "Ready" button when the timer reaches the start of the battle during the Play-off stage - they will both lose and be disqualified from the tournament!
• In a case when a player or a team do not show up for 1 or more battles in the tournament, they can be disqualified from future tournaments indefinitely
• In case that players get disconnected, the battle continues. There are no restarts.
• In the session lobby the standard game client rules apply to chat (you can report anyone for foul language or abuse using the in game report system).

Forbidden actions:
• Use of foul language and abuse.
• Violation of the official Forum rules in the tournament topics.
• Violation of the game chat rules in the match lobby.
• Violation of the War Thunder End User License Agreement (EULA)
• Disrespectful, unsportsmanlike behavior. (Public abuse of tournament players, arbiters, Gaijin Entertainment employees).
• Use of 3rd party modifications of the game client which can possibly give advantage in the battle.

In the case of violation of these rules, the organizers can remove or ban the team or player from participating in the tournaments of the War Thunder game.

Battles

Victory in the mission is achieved by having more cap points than your opponent at the moment when the mission time runs out or by depleting the cap points of your opponent completely.
When your team captures the Conquest point, the opponent team starts to lose cap points automatically.
For each tank your team destroys, the opponent loses 100 cap points. If you destroy all the tanks of your opponent, they will lose all cap points automatically.

Maximum spawns per team: 17(each player can use maximum of 4 spawns)
In each battle team can spawn maximum:
9 spawns in light/medium tanks
3 heavy tanks
3 SPGs.
3 SPAAs.
2 fighter aircraft.
2 attacker aircraft.
2 bomber aircraft.

Other vehicles have no limitations on number of spawns per team.
In case of successful landing on the friendly airfield, rearming and repairing an aircraft, a player can change the vehicle without losing a respawn.
Full list and amount (reserves) of team vehicles can be checked on a mission map - it is shown in the top right corner of the map.

List of allowed vehicles for this tournament can be found in the "ABOUT" section of the tournament.
IMPORTANT: All vehicles have to be researched and obtained on player's account and assigned to a vehicle slot.
Players are allowed to change nation between battles.
